  • Most major publishers and their respective imprints do not make their eBooks available to libraries.
  • Not all titles are available in digital format; many publishers do not release digital simultaneously with print.
  • Other publishers have drastically hiked the price of their eBooks for the library market, which, at times, inhibits the library's ability to purchase multiple copies of a book.
