New online format this year!  Create an account to track your child’s reading!  No papers to lose, no separate lists to keep and still have FUN. 

Beginning June 27th visit the children’s department to spin our wheel of fun and receive a prize!  **Limited to the first 275 participants. 
Volunteers will also be available to help you register for our programs and new online format. 

Summer Storytimes!
Summer Baby Bunch- Drop In. 
All babies up to age 2 are invited to sing, clap, play and read.  This drop in program will be a great first experience for our youngest library users. 
Thursdays at 10:00 AM   7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20

Summer Toddler Time- Drop In. 
Toddlers 2 and 3 years old will explore learning stations, educational themes and great stories in our new story time format. 
Tuesdays at 10:00 AM  7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/11, 8/18

Summer Preschool University-Drop In.
Preschoolers 4 and 5 years old will practice the skills needed for kindergarten  all while having fun with this new story time format. 
Wednesdays at 10:00 AM 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19

Registration Requred!

Book Clubs! Grades 4-6.   Registration Required.  First 10 registrants will get a free copy of the book. Refreshments provided.
One Boy and His Dog by Eva Ibbotson.  This book will be split into 2 parts and discussed with related activities on 3 Wednesdays July 15 & 22 at 4:00 PM
Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo.  This book will be split into 2 parts and discussed with related activities on 2 Wednesdays: August 12 & 19 at 4:00 PM.

Sewing for Beginners—Registration Required. Ages 7-10 Create a new project each week as you gain new hand sewing skills. All materials provided.

Discovery Museum-Under Sea Voyage-Registration Required. Dive deep into one of our most unexplored regions of the Universe…out oceans!

Tom Sieling-Howl at the Moon with a Hero Tune! Drop In. This show consists of fun, humorous, very participatory children’s songs that are guaranteed to engage everyone. Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, harmonica, and a drum machine, and all songs include parts for the whole family.

Tumble Books Library

Introducing Tumble Book Library!
The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, and Tumble Puzzles & Games. If you are logging in from home, you will need to provide your library barcode that is on the back of your library card. You must be a Trumbull resident to use this product.
